- Since the adoption of the 2023 Constitution, the Chadian state has reiterated its commitment and determination for a decentralization of communities management as mentioned in the previous ones. 2024, the local elections were organized to set up local councils in the 23 provinces and in the 125 urban municipalities. More recently, the State, through the Ministry of Territory Administration and Decentralization, organized the national seminar on the Decentralization.
